Hamilton Ice Arena
Hamilton Ice Arena is a versatile facility that hosts the Recreation Department’s Youth Hockey, Learn to Play Hockey, and Learn to Skate programs during fall and winter. It also serves the hockey programs for Rocky River High School and Avon Lake High School, along with various informal groups and rentals.
Hamilton Ice Arena becomes a multi-purpose facility in warmer months, hosting the city's nine-week Day Camp program and various indoor sports. It features four team locker rooms, a female locker room, and a coaches/referee space. The pavilion includes a fireplace and concession stand for events, with seating for nearly 800 to ensure everyone can enjoy the action on the ice. This facility is essential for recreational sports, community events, and family outings in Rocky River.

The staff at Hamilton Ice Arena is also equipped to assist in skate sharpening & offer skate rental for those in need! Skates may be required to be left overnight and are charged at $6.00 per sharpening.
